Industry: Government Department  Location:  Port Vila, Vanuatu Job Hours: Part Time, Short term Contract Due Date 28-Nov-16 Job Description: The Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons to be added to a register of potential writers to assist the Curriculum Development Unit (CDU) develop support materials for the Year 4 –6 syllabus. The support materials are designed to assist teachers implement the syllabus in classrooms. They provide information about teaching and learning strategies, approaches to assessment, and ideas for lesson planning. Writers will use prescribed specifications to design materials for each learning area and year group. They will work under the supervision of Curriculum Coordinators in CDU responsible for specific learning areas. English and French versions of the support materials will be developed. For this reason, positions will be made available for Anglophone and Francophone writers.
