The
Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA) is the national governing body for the game
of cricket in Vanuatu
and one of the country’s leading sporting organisations. The association is now
welcoming applications for two(2) part-time positions:
- The East Santo Development Officer is
responsible for developing cricket in schools
and communities in the East Santo region.
- The South Santo Development Officer is responsible for developing cricket in schools
and communities in the South Santo region.
This
involves running school programs, preparing schools for competitions,
officiating school competitions,
entering results into CricHQ and preparing media releases.
Responsibilities
- Plan,
organise and facilitate school programs in the schools in the East and Santo
Santo region.
- Working
with the Sanma Provincial Cricket Development Officer assist in planning and facilitating
regional cricket competitions between the schools.
- Assist
in scoring and umpiring finals of competitions as required by the Sanma
Provincial
- Cricket
Development Officer.
- Working
with the Sanma Provincial Cricket Development Officer to write media releases on
programs.
- Working
with the Women’s Cricket Development Officer via the Sanma Provincial Cricket
- Development
Officer to assist in women’s cricket development programs
- Working
with the Sanma Provincial Cricket Development Officer enter scorecards from competitions
into CricHQ.
