Job Description:
ODC Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
individual for the job of Information Technology Support Specialist. This
position provides first tier specialized support for IT needs within Vanuatu.
The Support Specialist will serve as member of the IT Customer Support team. This position works closely with clients and staff across multiple areas in a
collaborative capacity and requires the ability to achieve and maintain a high
level of customer satisfaction, in both the quality and manner in which the
service is provided. Additional responsibilities include: collaborating with
other IT Customer support staff, consultants, and systems and network
administrators as necessary to provide prompt and efficient problem resolution;
preparing procedural documentation, ensuring it is kept up-to-date,
communicating procedural changes to the IT Customer Service team and working
with the team to improve service levels.
We also offer in house training being the only Microsoft endorsed training
facility in Port Vila.
Criteria:

- Typically requires an Associate's degree or
higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of
education and experience
- Knowledge in Microsoft operating Systems are a must, Apple and Linux
Knowledge is desired
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Experience in configuring applications, system software, hardware, and local
peripherals
- Logical diagnostics skill in resolving various equipment and network
problems
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are
essential to work in this team environment
- Ability to work cooperatively with all and everyone
- Demonstrated experience
providing quality specialized support, strong critical thinking skills,
ability to analyse issues and guide customers to best practices and the
ability to learn quickly and independently is required
- Knowledge of French is a major advantage and current driver’s license a must.
