We are currently looking for a Production and Quality Manager to join our organization.
As the Production and Quality Manager you will provide strong leadership and direction to the site production team. You will provide strategic focus and lead the team through cultural change and embed a continuous improvement environment as well as driving an effective day to day operation.
Key duties and responsibilities
Your duties as the Production and Quality Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as following:
- Maintain the efficiency of turnarounds and cleaning operations: initiate and implement remedial action where required
- Promotion and encouragement of a continuous improvement culture in all areas of production team operations. Drive continuous improvement projects in areas of process team operations. Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in all aspects of process operations
- Ensure that all process and plant operations are carried out in accordance quality standards. Implement corrective action as necessary
- Identify the potential and development needs of all the process.
Criteria:
- Graduate or equivalent qualification of an Engineer and equivalent of Master Degree (Year 13 + 5 Years)
- Relevant production/process experience and knowledge of production processes within a process plant
- Ensures compliance with applicable state laws, regulations, and/or company policies, procedures, work rules, standards and guidelines, etc
- Very good computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
