Vanuatu Beverage Limited is a long-based company in
Vanuatu. Today's activity is centered in the manufacturing of a range of
beverage products (Spring Water, Soft Drinks, Cordial, Juice & Alcohol).
After a recent change of Management, the company is
now looking forward to the setup of new bottling line facility with brand new
machinery and process. It should allow the company to evolve quickly in the
current market and to expand in overseas markets.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited
to:
- Production Management & Supervision
- Set up and application of a Production Planning
- On-line Product Control and Quality Management
- Machinery Operation & Maintenance (Preventive & Curative)
- Set up and application of a Maintenance Planning
- Spare Parts Management and Supply Alerts
- Management of Technicians, Machines and Production Operators
- Application of Safety and Hygienic Standards
- Set up of continuous and specific Training for the team
- Contribute in the establishment of future budgets and management of current
budgets
- Second-in-command in day-to-day operations and Acting General Manager when
needed.
Criteria:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Graduate Engineer or Advanced Technician
(Automation / Industry)
- Experience of 2 to 5 years in the beverage industry.
Required Character attributes:
- Be proactive and reliable, honest and trustworthy, have demonstrated management
and leadership ability, ethical judgment, advanced communication skills, highly
motivated, show respect, loyalty and integrity, be flexible, team player,
problem solving skills, responsive, deliver on time and at a high level, and an
ability to work under pressure.
This position would really suit someone wanting to
progress their career quickly in what will be an essential role and one that
will lead you to a position of responsibility quicker than you would perhaps
find elsewhere.
The experience isn't essential and recent graduates
will be considered seriously too. What is essential is that you must be
intelligent, articulate, motivated and most of all you have the ability to
learn quickly and apply yourself.
