A Vacancy now exists for Operations Manager within the Operations Unit, in Port Vila, Vanuatu reporting directly to General Manager. The position carries responsibility for the overall management of the Bank's operations (incorporating, all Branch & Electronic Banking support processes, International Operations, Support Services, Property, Loan Support, Security, and the local implementation of operational strategies). This includes operational risk management especially in areas of systems and business continuity, in developing and maintaining a high level of risk awareness disaster preparedness, and physical security consciousness within the business units. The roles and responsibilities of the successful incumbent include: Branch Operations  Property and Support Services International Operations People and Performance Projects Criteria: Essential Qualifications, Professional/Skills & Experience: +5 years' experience in the banking industry with broad exposure to various areas of banking operations Knowledge of banking practices and operation risk management At least 2 years experience in people management  International business experience  Ability to solve problems  Flexible attitude Task orientation  An excellent understanding of technology and how it can be used to streamline processes and procedures Proven project management skills  A strategy approach to thinking.
