Stop Press Officeworks Vanuatu is the leading
wholesale and retail stationery shop in Vanuatu having shops in Downtown,
Inside Au Bon Marche Nambatu and its superstore at Champagne Estates, Port
Vila.
We are looking for a Manager Accounts to join our team based at its Head Office
in Champagne Estates, Port Vila. The Manager Accounts will oversee the accounts department, assist with
administration & human resources management and planning and should have an
advanced knowledge of MYOB and MYOB RM.
The Manager Accounts major responsibilities will include the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate
all assigned client accounts, ensuring quality, timeliness and customer
satisfaction
- Track staff assigned tasks and ensure all are completed on set deadlines
- Reconcile MYOB against MYOB RM figures ensuring they are balanced at all times
- Import data (Creditors, Debtors and Banking) from MYOB RM to MYOB
- Verify Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet ensuring MYOB matches with MYOB
RM figures
- Prepare VAT returns and submit on a timely basis
- Prepare superannuation funds deductions and submit on a timely basis
- Prepare bank reconciliations on MYOB
- Perform banking deposits on MYOB
- Clear duplicate data on MYOB RM transferred to MYOB
- Daily transfer of data from MYOB to MYOB RM
- Train staff on the use of MYOB and MYOB RM
- Make recommendations to processes and procedures to achieve company goals.
Other Duties
- Fostering strong communication between teams and uphold high standards of honesty
and integrity in personal conduct
- Promoting safe and secure work environment
- Any other duties as requested by the Manager Administration & Human
Resources
- Act as back up in absence of other admin staff.
Criteria:
Required qualifications and skills:
- Bachelors Degree in relevant finance field or qualified by experience with
demonstrable ability to perform the job
- Proficient use of MYOB and MYOB RM
- Familiarity with use of Microsoft office and excel
- Knowledge of relevant Vanuatu laws
- High level of personal integrity and honesty
- Strong financial management, human resource, and administration skills
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills, interpersonal skills, and
patience
- Advanced written and verbal English language skills.
