The Ministry of Lands & Natural Resources wishes
to recruit a suitable individual for an Engineer within the Department of Water
Resources. This will be a contract employment for at least three (3 months) or
until 31st December 2016.
Criteria:
Interested person should have the following skills:
- Qualification:
Degree in Civil Engineering
- Special
Business Education: Plumbing/Water engineering and
more than 5 years working experience
- Experience:
Recognised Diploma from a Technical Institute with at least 5 years practical
experience
- Special
Skills: Good practical skills, Computer
knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, etc), Plumbing and carpentry trade
background, knowledge of shipping and transportation procedures, driver’s
license
- Thinking
Style: Must be creative and takes initiatives to develop
and implement work programs
- Communication/Interpersonal
skills: Good communication and monitoring
skills, Good public relations skills, ability to relate well with others and
share information and experience
- Behavioural
Competencies: Mature personality with good working
relationship with colleagues
- Language:
English and/or French and Bislama
