The Vanuatu Public Service Commission wishes to recruit an experience and qualified person to fill the position of Director General, Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Criteria:
Applicants will be assessed against the following selection criteria:
- Qualification - Masters Degree
- Special Business Education - Administration, Policy planning and Economics
- Experience - Must have 10 years relevant experiences at a Senior Executive Management level in a Public or Private sector institution
- Special Skills - Strong leadership skills, negotiation skills, managerial and supervisory skills, planning skills, analytical skills, policy development skills, computer skills, interpretation skills, research skills
- Thinking Styles - Open minded and able to think theoretically, practically, analytically and think through approach
- Communication/Interpersonal skills - Excellent presentation skills which includes verbal and written communication
- Behavioral competencies - Shows a sense of professionalism, punctuality, visionary, adaptable to environmental change, commitment, self discipline, accountable, pro-active and cooperate well with team members.
