Job Description:


The University of the South Pacific, Distance & Flexible Learning (DFL) at Emalus Campus wished to hire Coordinator-Properties and Facilities.

The appointee will be responsible for the University Properties and Facilities at the Emalus campus and its Centers throughout Vanuatu.She/He will be expected to ensure the highest possible level in the delivery of service in terms of managing properties and facilities and OHS whilst making sure that the University policies are being followed. The incumbent will also be responsible for the managements of all the staff within the Properties and Facilities Department covering grounds, security and cleaning personnel.

Criteria:
  • To be considering for this position, applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of relevant experience in managing estate maintenance.
  • Experience in multitasking and working with in tight deadlines
  • Computer literate and well versed with MS Office software package
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and
  • A strong customer service orientation.
Salary:
The Position is available for term of 3 years and may be renewed by mutual agreement. Salary Range: Band 2 VUV 3,295,198 to VUV 3,954,237 per annum (inclusive of 15% Gratuity)
