Job Description:
Applicant are invited for Logistic and Purchasing Officer position within Air Vanuatu (Operation) Limited at Maintenance Department based at Bauerfield Airport, Port Vila.

        Criteria:
        Applicant should be suitable qualified for the abovementioned position and possess suitable qualifications and/or have the relevant experience in the following areas:
        • Demonstrate competency in computer skills particularly in Windows XP and spreadsheets
        • Records of stock movements
        • Shipping and respect of spare parts
        • Excellent computer skills
        • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by Store Controller
        • A background in logistic and procurement
        • Good organizational skills and attention to details (Team oriented approach)
        • Creative and Energetic Team Player
        • Excellent typing and Administrative skills
        • Drivers Licence desired
        • Training within this position will be provided
        • Excellent Oral, Written and Communication skills required
        • Must be able to provide Police Clearance and a Medical Report declaring fit for all duties.

        Minimum Qualification:
        • Completed a minimum of year 13

        Special Requirement:
        • Work with include shift work, night, weekends and holidays
        • The successful candidate will be subject to a background as a condition of employment
        • Assist in control and administration of procurement and logistic including records of stock movement, reporting, and invoice processing and filling.
