Role:
In this role you are responsible for providing accounting and reposting services to support Senior Management reporting to the CFO Pacific and CEO Vanuatu. It includes providing appropriate expertise, support and control to ensure accuracy and timeliness of delivering all month-end requirements (including statutory and regulatory requirements); registers, schedules, reconciliations, trail balance, and accounting services are completed in a timely and accurate manner to support financial reporting.

Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- 5 or more years of financial experience in an equivalent role in a large commercial bank or similar enterprise
- Sound knowledge of financial control in a medium to large financial institution and demonstrate a record finance business partnering experience
- Experience in presenting financial reports and driving financial results discussions with business stakeholders
- Experience in delivering successful internal and external financial audits
- Ability to work in a highly pressured team environment
- Proven relationship and networking skills
- Advance computer skills
- Hold a qualified accountants accreditation i.e CPA or CA
- Contribute to overall International Banking profitability, achieving and seeking to outperform against targets
- Seek opportunities to educate and facilitate ways to bank with customers
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
- Attend customer functions as required
- Speak fluently in English, (ability to speak Bislama and/or French is an advantage.
