Job Description: 
Oceanic Communications (Vanuatu) ltd is looking for someone who is very experience in handling payroll including accounts payable.

Responsibilities include:
  • Payroll
  • Creditors
  • Petty Cash
  • Cash reconciliation
  • Some administration tasks

          Criteria:
          The person we seek must possess the following skills & Qualities:
          • Payroll processing experience with a very sound understanding of the current Employment Act of Vanuatu
          • Experienced account payable with a sound understanding of timelines in relation to periodic month end closure
          • Experience in managing petty cash
          • Cash handling experience
          • Very honest & reliable
          • A Very good communicator (written & verbal) in both English & Bislama
          • A good listener who is willing to learn & be trained
          • Ability to organize & priorities workflow with minimum supervision
          • Clean police record

          Office hours are strictly, Mondays to Fridays with Saturdays working half day. To be successful for an interview, potential candidates must have the above skills and qualities, plus must be able to work on Saturdays.
