| Job Description:
The Ministry of Climate Change (MCCA) is seeking
to recruit an Information Systems Management (ISM) Specialist for the National
Advisory Board (NAB) is responsible for designing an effective information
systems framework and web based tool that will link regional, national,
provincial and local level networks in collating, sharing and coordinating Climate
Change (CC) and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) information and activities. The ISM
Specialist will undertake a review of the current NAB portal and stakeholder
analysis research to build an effective mechanism to manage and coordinate
CC/DRR information, activities, programs, projects and activities in Vanuatu.
Key Result Areas:
- National
Advisory Board (NAB) Portal is reviewed, upgraded and maintained as an
effective Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction (CC/DRR) information
sharing, information management and coordination tool
- Creation of a database for storing and sharing information related to
CC/DRR. For this particular result area, the information system management
specialist will work closely with the monitoring and evaluation specialist
- Cross sector CC/DRR information management needs and gaps analysis is
undertaken
- CC/DRR
information system management framework designed to target national, provincial
and local level stakeholders
