Job Description: World vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Community development is a key focus of World Vision Vanuatu, with 80% of our staff base in communities where we work. We are recruiting for the position of Area Program Manager - this is a Local position to be base at World Vision Office in Lenakel Tanna. Duties:  Lead the field officer including Program Staff in coordinating integrated sector programming for all areas in which WV works (i.e. Ward, Area Council, Zone, etc. Depending on Province) including budgeting, Planning implementation and reporting Lead and coordinate reporting for all sectors in the area program Coordinate program quality and operational support for the area program Represent the area development program in all high level meetings, including meetings in national program office level.

Criteria: Bachelor Degree in project Management Excellent written and verbal communication – fluent in English required Relational skills, especially in a cross culture environment Strong planning, organisational and project management skills and ability to prioritise and handle multi task Ability to gratefully work under pressure Demonstrate ability to work with National staff and a passion for capacity building an organisational development Computer Literate in Microsoft Office, Lotus Note or similar Data base, Email and Internet Ability to analyse and solve problem, persuaded, Network and negotiate Excellent in program or Project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing required.
