Job Description:
Discount Hardware is seeking for a suitable person to fill in the position as a Assistant Manager who will be able to use computer and enter sales.
Duties:

  • Assist customers throughout the day
  • Manage the boys / deliveries / sales / stocks
  • Speak with customers politely and provide them with the necessary information to make the sale.
  • Communicate with staff / customers if English / Bislama, if possible even French.
  • Update the general manager with the necessary information if away

        Criteria:
        Qualification required:
        • Qualified assistant manager with at least 2 – 3 years’ experience helping the general manager with the managerial role i.e. make sure boys are doing the necessary work, customers are being handled properly, and sales are being entered correctly.
        • Qualified with using the computer for 3 – 4 years – able to use Excel / Word / Retail Manager.
        • Able to provide reference letters from teachers / old employers
