A vacancy existed for a Project & Finance Officer with Pacific Aviation Safety (PASO).The PASO Reform Project has the development objective to ensure effective regional delivery of aviation safety and security oversight in Pacific Island Countries by strengthening the Pacific Aviation Safety Office’s technical and coordination capacity.The project’s implementing Entity is PASO, with project implementation support from the Technical and Fiduciary Services Unit (TFSU) of the Pacific Aviation Investment Program (PAIP).The Project & Finance Officer is sought to provide project implementation and financial management support to PASO.
PASO has an opening for a skilled, motivated and committed person who is interested in working and contributing to the development of Aviation safety in the Pacific. We are seeking people with a high drive for results, demonstrable teamwork, good self-awareness and self-regulation.

 Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualifications from a recognized institution in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated experience, of at least two (2) years over the previous three (3) years, in hands-on project and financial management roles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and/or MYOB financial system or relevant
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail
  • Previous experience in World Bank funded projects or similar project management systems therein.

Salary:

Salary Scale Up to VATU 2,150,400 per annum based on Qualifications and experience of candidate.
