Job Description:
Wantok Network Ltd is looking for a suitably qualified person to oversee its network infrastructure available for an immediate start.

Responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing technical system operations, and maintenance of IP infrastructure
  • Proactively monitor and maintain the network on a day to day basis
  • Recommending and implementing upgrades to networks and customer environments whilst minimising downtime
  • Support the Sales and Technical teams.

Criteria:
  • Hands on experience with configuring and troubleshooting Cisco and other data and security products
  • Experience with system administration and Windows/ Linux servers in virtualised environments
  • Strong understanding of both firewall and web application security
  • Previous networking experience in a telecommunications or ISP environment preferable
  • In-depth knowledge of networking, system security and system backups
  • Experience with server migration, patch management, database administration and system security
  • Effective communication and management skills.
