The Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA) is the national governing body for the game of cricket in Vanuatu and one of the country’s leading sporting organisations. The association is now welcoming applications for the position of Media Officer, in the nation’s capital, Port Vila.
The Media Officer provides the public face and voice
of the organisation, aimed at generating positive interest, media attention and
knowledge of Vanuatu cricket. The Media Officer is responsible for the
promotion and publicity of VCA initiatives, as well as the media management of
all VCA events, including men’s, women’s, junior and development tournaments.
The main communication is via media releases, as well as social media and the
Vanuatu Cricket website. The Media Officer’s other major responsibility is
maintaining positive relationships with VCA corporate partners including
sponsors.
