TRR requires a Receptionist/Administration
Officer to play a key and important role in supporting and coordinating TRR’s
front office and administrative related responsibilities in TRR’s daily
operations, in accordance with the Telecommunications and Radiocommunications
Regulation Act 2009 (the Act).
The
role includes:
- Providing front office support and being the face of TRR for enquiries and
assistance
- Understanding, displaying and assisting in the achievement of the Vision,
Mission, and Values of TRR
- Ensuring smooth administrative and logistical support to all TRR units and
staff, and the Regulator
- Performing routine clerical and administrative responsibilities
- Providing support and assistance within TRR as required.
In particular, the Receptionist/Administration Officer will provide strong
support to the Corporate Team. The Receptionist/Administration Officer must
work cooperatively with all TRR stakeholders, including Government, industry,
consumers and with TRR team members across all units and the Regulator.
Criteria:
- A certificate in office management and/or
administration.
- General office experience, familiarity with office processes such as filing,
banking and administrative work.
- A good understanding of Telecommunications technologies and ICT in Vanuatu;
- High level interpersonal skills, and a pleasant, cooperative, respectful, responsive
and diligent character.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. A good working
knowledge of French and Bislama in addition is ideal.
- Excellent computing skills and proficient of office computer systems including
Microsoft Office applications.
