The Vanuatu Public Service Commission wishes to recruit an experienced and qualified person to fill in the position of Director General, Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Applicants will be assessed against the following selection criteria.
Criteria:
- Masters Degree
- Administration, Policy Planning and Economics
- Must have 10 years relevant experiences at a senior Executive Management level in a Public or Private sector institution
- Strong leadership skills, negotiation skills, managerial and supervisory skills, planning skills analytical skills, policy development skills, computer skills, interpretation skills and research skills
- Open minded and able to think theoretically, practically, analytically and think through approach
- Excellent presentation skills which includes verbal and written communication
- Shows a sense of professionalism, punctuality, visionary, adaptable to environmental change, commitment, self discipline, accountable, proactive and cooperate well with team members.
