Hawkins Vanuatu Limited, an independent operating entity of the Hawkins Group, to deliver the rehabilitation and development of the seafront precint and the portside precint in Port Vila, is looking for suitably qualified and competent persons in the following above field, this is a genuine advertisement.
This position provides services to the Project Manager to co-ordinate and manage the trades involved in projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, co-ordinate and manage trades in accordance with the specific contract agreement and related documents
- regularly inspect and report to the Project Manager the status of Subcontractors' installation quality, performance and progress
- On design and build projects, liaise with Clients, Consultants and Subcontractors to ensure technical compliance with the design brief is achieved with the budget/scope of works, and provide reports on Consultants compliance with design briefs
- Coordinate all activities of Subcontractors and ensure drawings and necessary documentation is prepared prior to manufacture and installation of components
- Over the implementation and functions of the quality system. This includes assistance in preparing specific project Quality and Safety Plans.
