A
vacancy exists for an operations officer with Pacific Aviation Safety Office
(PASO). PASO is a Regional Organization providing aviation safety and security oversight
services to 13-member countries around the Pacific Region. The position of
Operations Officer is to support the technical operations team responsible for
aviation safety and security oversight for PASO.
Duties Include
- Develop and implement plans to improve
operational effectiveness and efficiency
- Manage technical and record keeping
for surveillance and compliance requirements for the members states and
aviation industry organizations
- Coordinate task request from the
member states of PASO
- Support the Coordination and
administration of the regional pool of inspectors
- Set up and manage PASO technical
library including cataloging technical documentation
- Develop Sub-Contracting Agreements and
record keeping of CV’s for the technical pool of inspectors
- Maintain a detailed record of
oversight services conducted by the PASO inspectors
- Maintenance of record and reports
relating to technical oversight activities carried out by PASO inspectors.
