Job Description:
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Utilities (MIPU) wishes to recruit a suitable individual for the position of an Airworthiness Officer. 
      Criteria:
      • Qualification - Diploma or Degree
      • Special Business Education - Aircraft's Engineer's license and/or Airworthiness inspector qualification
      • Experience - At least 5 years experiences in the aviation sector with all or some of the above duties and responsibilities. Must understand Civil Aviation legislation and regulatory framework and be familiar with FRTO standard phraseology and aviation technical terms. Some knowledge of Systems Management.
      • Special Skills - Supervision skills, auditing skills, inspection skills, liaison skills, competent user of core Microsoft suit and e-mail.
      • Thinking Style; Communication/Interpersonal Skills; Behavioral Competencies:
            o   Practical, analytical and logical; Sound written and verbal communication skills interpersonal skills, including assertive listening and communication; confident cooperative, punctual and trustworthy, able to work under pressure, able to work independently. 
      • Language - Fluent in English and Bislama; French desirable.

      		VUV 1,940,400 (Annually)
