An exciting opportunity is awaiting a qualified and successful candidate. Youth Challenge Vanuatu is currently seeking a service of a Program Manager who is dedicated to ensure the effective delivery and Monitoring of it's Future Leaders Program (FLP) and Ready for Work Program (R4W). The
Program Manager is responsible for supporting and monitoring the performance of
4 direct reports: The Employment Services, Training, Rural Community Development as well as the Future Leaders Program in it's Santo Office.

The Successful applicant will possess:
Criteria:
Essential:
- Secondary school diploma
- Previous experience managing youth livelihoods and/or leadership
programs
- Excellent program or project management skills and experience
- Ability to develop and manage program budgets and ensure financial
procedures and policies are followed
- Ability to apply program monitoring and learning to the development
of narrative reports and program plans
- Ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders including
international agencies, rural communities and national and international
youth volunteers
- Understanding of principles of youth empowerment and skills
development
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication, negotiation and report writing skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word software

implementing staff training and development approaches
- Experience
managing staff within a rigorous performance management framework
- Formal
training in management, youth livelihoods and empowerment approaches
- Public
relations, program promotion and marketing skills and experience
