Job Description:

The Vanuatu Red Cross Society is seeking applications from dynamic and highly motivated persons to immediately fill the following position as part of its VRCS team. Applicants are required to demonstrate the following:

Criteria:

Qualification & Experience   • Post-secondary education (preferably in a related field), year 13 or above;   • A minimum of 5 years work experience in the development sector;   • Experience managing community development projects (preferably working with women/girls);   • Experience managing staff and volunteers;   • Experience in project monitoring and evaluation   • Experience in managing project budgets and financial management processes.  Skills and personal attributes:   • Excellent computer skills (Internet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);   • Excellent communication and reporting skills;   • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;   • Strong sense of responsibility and control;   • Proactive nature;   • Interest in sharing professional skills as well as learning from others;   • Fluent Bislama required;   • Fluent English and/or French required;   • Open-minded, dynamic and flexible;   • Knowledge of Red Cross movement will be an asset;   • Driving license will be an asset.Only short listed candidates will be contacted.
