Job Description:

|
The Consultants in collaboration with the MAF Expert Thematic
Group on YFHS will develop a training module in English defined with
illustrated examples and exercises on youth friendly service delivery that
will equip the trainees with all the necessary knowledge and skills required
to be a successful trainer. The module will be taught to the service
providers and health facility managers.
The consultant is also expected upon completion of the YFHS training module to prepare trainers to teach skills for effective delivery of youth friendly services by: gaining understanding of the major concepts (theory) and skills (practice) that should be taught in the delivery of training to RH service providers and learning about the key characteristics of a health service delivery setting that supports effective youth access to health services. |

Qualifications
1. Willing to take up duties as soon as the contractual documentation has been finalized 2. Prepare & submit within 2 weeks, an inception plan describing the methodology & timelines associated with this consultancy 3. Plan & facilitate 1 national training workshop with a “train-the-trainer” focus & outcome 4. Advise MAF Expert Thematic Group on YFHS, on development of appropriate awareness-raising materials to accompany the YFHS training modules 5. Previous professional work experience of developing training modules; Experience leading & facilitating training workshops; Strong technical understanding of reproductive health & youth issues; Minimum of a bachelor degree in a related technical field |
