The Food Security Livelihood (FSL) program is supporting recovery of affected people's livelihoods in SHEFA province through following interventions:
- Implementing food distributions in collaboration with cluster members
- Support to village based groups through grants for Income Generating Activities & Assests Restoration projects
- Providing agricultural inputs and tools for farming recover
- Integrating livelihoods and access to education
- Small-scale cash for work in per-urban areas in Efate
Applicants will be assessed according to the following criteria.
Criteria:
- Completed high School Level 12
- Diploma in Community Services as advantage
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical skills in community level mobilization and events
- Three (3) years experience working in communities including liaising with community leaders
- Experience conducting livelihood activities
- Knowledge of small business, agriculture, capacity building of community based organization an advantage
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both Bislama and English
- Ability to communicate to communities
- Ability to plan an organize self and others to ensure the timely completion of tasks while working to deadlines
- Willing and able to travel to and work in remote communities including overnight
