As part of our work to support Vanuatu recover from Cyclone Pam, we are expanding our team, and are looking for someone with relevant experience, including management skills to join our team in the following function:
Criteria:
- Experience with stock, warehousing or supply chain management
- Prior NGO experience in logistics within a complex/large scale country programme and in emergency response/humanitarian environments.
- Excellent planning, management and coordination skills, with the ability to organize a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities and to delegate
- Strong communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills in English with experience in managing multi-cultural terms
- Proven tract-record in managing and supervising others (in logistics) including training and capacity building
- Ability to analyse complex information, and make clear informed decisions
- Ability to build relationships quickly with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
- Great attention to detail; accurate and honest accounting for work
- Formal Logistics/Warehouse Management Training
- Experience of developing and implementing a complex domestic, regional and international supply chain to support large emergency programmes, and coordinating resources to meet the program objectives.
