| The
Ministry of Communications and Transport, Tuvalu (MCT) is currently
implementing the Tuvalu Aviation Investment Project (TvAIP) for Tuvalu, using
World Bank funds and this is being managed by the Pacific Aviation Investment
Program within Tonga Airports Ltd (TAL) by the Technical and Fiduciary Services
Unit (TFSU)
The TvAIP has an opening, for a skilled,
motivated and committed Bid
Administrator, interested in working and contributing to the development of
Aviation in Tuvalu, to become an active member of the Tuvalu Project Support
Team (PST) based at the TvAIP. We are seeking a qualified Bid Administrator with
a high drive for results, demonstrable teamwork, good self-awareness and
self-regulation.
Purpose of the post:
To provide bid administration support
to the Tuvalu project support teams, in close liaison and direction of the
TvAIP Project Manager and TFSU
Procurement team.
These
duties shall be conducted in accordance with World Bank procedures and the PAIP
Financial Management Manual, in line
the Implementing Agency Financing Agreements.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with
the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and
Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (January 2011 edition). Firms may nominate an individual, but only qualifications of the
individual will be evaluated.
