Job Description:
The Board of the Vanuatu Investment Promotion Authority (VIPA) wishes to recruit a qualified Ni-Vanuatu person for the position of Chief Executive Officer.
Responsibility:
The person we are seeking will be leading and directing this important institution. The ideal candidate must be able to strategize, manage and coordinate the daily administrative operations of the Office and ensure that the Board achieves it's major objectives on time.
Criteria:
Qualification
- The CEO should hold a Master in Business Administration or Degree in Business Management or Economics & Administration or other qualifications acceptable by the Board.
Experience
- He or she should have at least 5 years working experience in managerial positions and demonstrate good leadership qualities.
- Good communication and negotiation skills are essential as is a sound appreciation of the local and international business environment.
- The potential candidate should also have background knowledge of human resource management and corporate planning.
- Previous experience in the commercial sector or with an investment promotion organization would also be an advantage.
Salary:
An attractive package is offered for this position including the relevant benefits entitlements. Besides, the CEO will appointed for a term of not less than 1 year and not more than 3 years with the option to renew.
