Job Description:
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Utilities (MIPU) wishes to recruit a suitable individual for the position of an Airworthiness Officer.
Interested individuals should call the Ministry of Infrastructure, Corporate Sercices HR Office to collect the Standard job Application Form- PSC Form 3-2.
Criteria:
- Qualification: Diploma or Degree
- Special Business Education: Aircraft Engineers license and/or Airworthiness inspector qualification.
- Experience: At least 5 years experiences in the aviation sector with all or some of the above duties and responsibilities. Must understand Civil Aviation legislation and regulatory framework and be familiarity with FRTO standard phraseology and aviation technical terms. Some knowledge of systems management.
- Special skills: Supervision skills, auditing skills, inspection skills, liaison skills, competent user of core Microsoft suite and e-mail, auditing skills.
- Thinking style: Communication/interpersonal skills: Behavior Competencies : Practical, analytical and logical; sound written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, including assertive listening and communication; confident, cooperative, punctual and trustworthy, able to work under pressure, able to work independently.
- Language: Fluent in English and Bislama; French desirable.
