Job Description:
Live & Learn Environmental Education is a non-government, non-profit organization. Live & Learn helps to promote greater understanding of environmental and human sustainability through education, community mobilization and supportive partnership. While maintain a non-political image we work with other agencies, both government and non-government, to share knowledge for a sustainable planet and linking knowledge to change.
Live & Learn is currently seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the position of " Finance Manager" to be based in our Vanuatu office.
Live & Learn Environmental Education has a vacant position for a Finance Manager in Vanuatu Office. The successful candidate will be working with a dynamic team, be responsible for the management and coordination of Live & Learn Environmental Education Vanuatu Office finances including the annual audit and donor management. the position will report to the Country Manager and the Regional Finance Manager for the regional project.
The successful candidate will need to possess the following attributes and skills:
Criteria:
- Good Verbal and Writing Skills;
- Ability to work with other staffs and stakeholders at all levels;
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining tolerance appropriate humor and patience;
- Ability to identify and solve problems in an accurate and timely manner;
- Sound knowledge of MYOB or similar accounting package;
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft office tool;
- An undergraduate Degree in Accounting from a reputable University;
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in the accounting and finance field;
- NGO working experience is an added advantage;
- Should be working towards CPA/CA or equivalent.
