Job Description:

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Utilities (MIPU) wishes to recruit suitable individual for the position of Meter Reader. The application which should address the Selection Criteria for the advertised position must be accompanied by photocopies of supporting documents in a sealed envelope addressed to the Human Resource Officer, on the postal address provided. Supporting documents should include CV of no more than five (5) pages detailing employment experience demonstrating capacity to meet the Selection Criteria. Criteria:

Qualifications - Plumbing Certificate Experience - A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in all or some of the above Duties & Responsibilities; Special Business Education - Electrical Studies, welding; Special Skills - Reporting skills, Liason skills, Mathematical skills, Basic Computer Literacy, Driver's License; Thinking Style; Communication/Interpersonal skills; Behavioural competencies: Practical. Methodical, independent thinker; Sound written and spoken skills; Hard working, reliable, punctual, responsible. Language - English or French and Bislama.
