| The Vanuatu Land Program is seeking applications from Ni-Vanuatu for the position of 3 x Data Capture Field Officers for Luganville, Santo. |
| The Data Capture Field Officer will provide support to the Department of Lands specifically to assist the Valuation Unit to collect data from field based onsite assessments of properties in the Luganville municipal area and enter and store data in a secured storage system is necessary. The Officers will work in close coordination with the Senior Valuation staff. |
| The expected assignment period is from early November 2014 for 6 months. |

| It is expected that the Data Capture Field Officer will have the following minimum qualifications: |
| Criteria: |
| o Complete graduate certificate from the Vanuatu Institute of Technology or equivalent in the building field. |
| O A good knowledge of English and basic Mathematical skills. |
| o Computer Literate. |
| O Knowledge & skills to draw building to scale on a graph paper. |
| o Knowledge and skills to calculate building areas. |
| O Be able to show responsibility for accuracy in the work. |
| o Be actively interested in the building technique & construction. |
| O A willingness to undertake training in the area of building measurements |
| o A willingness to listen to the Supervisor of the task and to respond in the manner accordingly. |
| O Knowledge of building materials & depreciation would be an advantage. |
