| The Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) is a body established by the Vanuatu National Provident Fund Act CAP 189 to provide for a member contributions to and the payment of members benefits out of the Fund. |

| The Fund is now seeking to recruit for its Head Office in Port Vila, a suitably competent and proven person for the position of Legal Officer - Commercial . This is a senior position requiring a person of good character, maturity and leadership with desire for growth and improvement of the fund on behalf of members through out Vanuatu. |
| The successful person will be in charge of all commercial and contract management support of the fund to ensure commercial business interests are optimized, in addition to representing the Fund in Court for all matters in relation to both commercial and member related issues. He/she is expected to work collaboratively with other relevant departments of the Fund including liaising |
| with external lawyers of the fund. This is a senior position reporting directly to the Manager Legal Department of VNPF. |
| - Effective management and/or practice in commercial, employment, benefits and pension laws. |
| - Demonstrate thorough understanding of VNPF Act Cap 189. |
| - Provide commercial support and advice to management and board of Directors. |
| - Support the legal team in managing all legal aspects of the Fund. |
| - Work in colloboration with other departments of the fund in all legal related issues. |
| - Review lawsuits against the Fund and prepare defence reports on behalf of the Fund. |
| - Represent the VNPF in Court. |
| - Demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of VNPF member system. |

| - The desired candidate should have a legal background with a qualification of Bachelor or higher in Law. High considerations will be given to any applicant who has been admitted to the Vanuatu Bar and a member of |
| the Vanuatu Law Society. |
