| | The Vanuatu Public Service Commission wishes to recruit an experience and qualified person to fill the position of Director, Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture. |
| | The Office of the Public Service Commissiopn will provide any person with information package containig details of the above vaccancy including duties and responsibilities, reporting arrangements. |

| | - At Least a Master of Science Degree in Fisheries, Natural Science or related field. |
| | - At least 5 years experience and knowledge in fisheries resource conversatiuon and management with demonstrated success in developing and managing complex conservation programs. Experience in implementing |
| | and activating partnerships within relevant intergovernmental institutions and regional fisheries management organizations. |
| | - Proven ability to manage professional staff in a timely fashion, to work effectively with multilateral and regional institution, diplomatic and cultural skills essential to work with a broad array of individuals and experience |
| | working with broader NGOs and private sector essential. |
| | - English or French and Bislama. |
| | - Good character and personality. |
