| | The Public Service Comminssion is seeking outstanding people to fill the following position within the Ministry of Health. |
| | Director General's are responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Ministries; Developing policies option and implementing government policies and advising the Minister on matters related to his portfolio interests. The position will have responsibility for ensuring the Ministries are provided with appropriate leadership and well managed to fulfil their objectives & |
| | functional responsibilities within Budget resources with a particular focus on enhanced service delivery. |

| | The applicant will require to complete a job application form, PSC Form 3-2. The successful applicant will be required to complete a performance agreement with the Minister. |

| | Applicants will be assed against the following selection Criteria: |

| | - Demonstrated ability to develop policy options and provide high level policy advice. |
| | - Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to and manage a large organizational with diverse functional responsibilities. |
| | - Demonstrated capacity to work as part of a team both internal & external to the organizational. |
| | - Evidence of successful implementation of plans and strategies in a complex environment, including budget constraints. |
| | - High level negotiation and communication skills, both written and oral in Bislama and French and/or English. |
| | - Preference may be given to applications who possess a relevent university qualifications who possess a relevent university qualification. |
| | - It would be expected successful applicants would have 5-10 years experience in a senior management position in the Public Sector or Private Sector. |
