| | The Ministry of Justice and Community Services wishes to recruit experienced and qualified person to fill up the following position: |

| | A person is disqualified for appoinment as Land Ombudsman if he or she: |
| | a) Is a member of Parliament, the Malvatumauri Council of chiefs or a Provincial Government Council, or |
| | b)Holds any Public Office. Or |
| | c) Exercise the position of responsibility within a political party. |
| | |
| | Criteria. |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Degree in Law and /or Land Management. |
| | - Land Management and law studies |
| | - Has knowledge, Understanding and appreciation of culture, traditions and values indigineous citizen, |
| | - Has an understanding of the land laws in Vanuatu, and |
| | - Is of high intergrity and competence, and |
| | - Has an apprpriate academic qualification and suitable experience in public and private sector, and |
| | - Is politically independent, and |
| | - Has not been convicted and sentenced on a criminal charge(not being a road traffic offence) and |
| | - Is capable of discharging his or her duties without fear or favour, and |
| | - Is high of standing in the community. |
