| | The Ministry of Education wishes to recruit experienced and qualified persons to the following permanent positions: |
| | Provincial Pre-School & Special Education Coordinator for: Malampa, Shefa and Tafea. |
| | |
| | Both male and female are encouraged to apply for these positions. Applications should be made using the Job Application Form (PSC Form 3-2) provided in the Information package available from the Ministry of Education or Provincial Head Offices. Applications must address all aspects of the Job selection criteria. |

| | Duties and responsibilities include: |
| | - To supervise and co-ordinate Provincial Pre-School activities |
| | - To organize and follow up in-service training for pre-school teachers |
| | - To assist the Provincial Planning and Development Officer in collecting statistical data and ensure that accurate information are sent to the Ministry |
| | - To ensure satisfactory implementation of Pre-School official programs |
| | - To train and supervise primary and pre-school teachers to identify children physical and mental disabilities and to assist teachers in providing supervision to slow learners |
| | - Work in close collaboration with NGOs in matters related to early childhood and special education |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Early Child-hood Development Certificate and/or Teacher’s Certificate |
| | - 5 years teaching experience preferably in special or pre-school education |
| | - Management and planning skills and high level communicatin skill. |
| | - An analytical thinker and practical thinker |
| | - Dedicated and trustworthy |
| | - Bislama, French or English |
