Under the technical guidance and
supervision of the Regional WEE/M4C Programme Specialist, the M4C National
Project Coordinator, will ensure that UN Women’s M4C initiatives are aligned
with the National Development Strategies and contribute to the development of
gender policy and National Action Plans for the economic empowerment of women
in the key ministries. The M4C National
Project Coordinator will ensure that UN Women’s M4C project is harmonized
effectively with the mandates and comparative advantage of donors and
development partners and capable national and local civil society organizations
and contributes to a coherent national strategy and programme for Women’s
Economic Empowerment.
The M4C National Project Coordinator will establish and maintain effective partnerships with national and local Government, multi-lateral and bi-lateral donors and will be fully responsible for M4C project inception and implementation

Contract duration is 1 year initially, renewable annually dependent on
performance and availability of funds.
