| Applications are invited for the positionof General Manager Airports with Air Vanuatu (Operations) Limited. The position will be based at Air Vanuatu Bauerfield International Airport, Port Vila, Vanuatu. The postion will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Applicants must be suitably qualified for this position. |

| Regular assigned job duties will be: |
| 1. The General Manager Airports is responsible to the CEO for the implementation and maintaining of all airport handling procedures in the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand |
| 2. Prepare departmental budgets and ensure that the airport operations are effectively and efficiently maintained |
| 3. Preparation of ground handling contracts for client airline companies |
| 4. Maintain a good working relationship with all Air Vanuatu departments-government departments-Custom-Immigration-Quarantine-Civil Avaition and Security |
| 5. Ensure all performance standards are maintained, investigate performance shortfalls and initiate corrective actions required |
| 6. Ensure that all supervisory staff are effective and efficient and operating within all required compliance standards at all times |
| 7. Ensure all property plant and equipment are maintained in a safe working condition at all times |
| 8. Prepare and submit all reports and near miss incidents in a timely and efficient manner |
| 9. Prepare shift rosters for passengers and cargo staff |
| 10. In conjunction with the HR Department organize staff training and development training programs |
| 11. Ensure that as and when required that on the job staff training is carried out and completed in accordance with all operational policies and procedures |
| 12. Handle customer complaints in timely and efficient manner |
| 13. Attend management meetings as required. |

| Some requirements will include: |
| Criteria: |
| - Implementation and knowledge of CAA Regulations/CAO/IATA Standards |
| - Demonstrated past experience in Budget Management, Staff Management and Initiation of Operational Change |
| - At least fifteen (15) years broad experience in Airline Industry, particularly in the areas of Airports and Cargo Management |
