| | This Position reports directly to the Finance and Administration Officer. |
| | The Finance Administration Officer (FAO) will work to support effective financial and admistration management of Youth Challenge Vanuatu (YCV). The FAO will provide support to the FAM in all matters related to finance, administration and human ressources (HR) to ensure the smooth running of the YCV office. The position is responsible to the Finance and Administration Manager |
| | (FAM) but works with all Port Vila based staff and may be required to support staff and processes in Luganville. |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1)Participating youth, both rural and urban have increased confidence in decision making and increased employement skills and are taking up leadership, livelihood opportunities or studies and communities have increased knowledge about specifics topics |
| | 2)Participating youth have increased employement, business skills and self-confidence and are taking up livelihoods opprotunities |
| | 3)Staff have increased capacity to manage the organisation and implement and monitor programs |

| | The applicant should possess the followings: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Secondary school diploma or previous Finance and Office Administration experience; Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping |
| | - Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information; Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; Strong organizational skills |
| | - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Able to communicate in English and Bislama |
| | - Experience with MYOB accounting software; Experience working in the not-for-profit sector |
| | - Formal training in finance and/or administration and/or HR |
