| | The Project Officer will work to build relationships with rural communities and encourage more communities to become involved in the Santo Future Leaders Program. The Project Officer will develop and organize Rural Community Development Projects, as a key part of the Future Leaders Program. Rural community development projects create an opportunity for Ni- Vanuatu youth to |
| | develop their Leaderships skills as well as build the capacity of rural youth in the communities. The Project Officer is responsible of identifying and developing the projects with communities and is responsible for all logistics and preparations and supervising the volonteer field staff during the community projects. The Project Officer will also work to support the Santo Future Coordinator in |
| | aspects of recruitment and training of youth participants. |

| | Criteria: |
| | - Secondary school Diploma; Ability to work and manage program budgets and ensure financial procedures and policies are followed |
| | - Abilty to engage with a broad range of stakeholders including international donors and agencies, rural communities and national and international youth volunteers |
| | - Understanding of principles of youth empowerment and skills development; Excellent Interpersonal, networking, communication and negociation skills |
| | -Profeciency of using Microsoft Excel and Word software; Able to communicate in English and Bislama |
| | -Previous experience working on youth livelihood and/or leadership programs; Ability to apply and monitoring and learning to the development of narrative reports and program plans |
