Job Description:

The Havannah, International 5 star adult only boutique resort seeks the services of an Executive Chef to manage the kitchen operation of the resort.



The Executive Chef responsibilities include:

1) The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate exceptional hands on capacities in the tasks associated with this demanding and important role

2) Developing our local kitchen brigade to higher standards

3) Developing interesting menus with a European and Asian fusions cuisine, using fresh Vanuatu produce

4) Taking full control of any food requirement and ensuring the highest standard at lal time for the restaurant, in villa dining, picnic and catering

5) Motivating and coaching the team

6) Managing food cost, food purchasing, food handling and hygiene

7) Ensuring the kitchen and all food area are always clean.



Interested applicant must possess the following:

Criteria:

- This role is for a single person only with a minimum of 2 years as Executive Sous Chef or Executive Chef of a 5 star international resort.
