| The role of the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will contribute to: |
| 1) Providing technical support and training on program logic, monitoring, evaluation and on the overall program cycle |
| 2) Facilitating high quality baselines, evaluation and research |
| 3) Giving M&E input into program design and implementation |
| 4) Supporting effective reporting to internal and external stakeholders |
| 5) Ongoing mentoring for increasing Save the Children staff M&E capacities. |
| Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| Criteria: |
| - Experience in program management, program design and development, monitoring, evaluation, research and program logic; Experience developing and implementing M&E systems; Diploma or degree in community |
| development, or monitoring/evaluation |
| - Experience in facilitation and training; Demonstrated research and analytical skills; Understanding of the rights based approach to development |
| - Excellent report writing ability, with clear understanding of program logic; Computer literate; High levels of attention to detail and quality |
| - Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak and write English fluently |
| - Strong time management and organisational skills; Ability to supervise and motivate team members. |

| Remuneration will be negotiated based on skills and experience. |
