| Oxfam is looking for an accountant who will ensure that there is effective management of all financial transactions, monitoring, cash flow management and reporting in line with organizational policies and systems and assists the Country Director and Program Manager s with their budget management responsibilities through ensuring there is |
| provision of timely and accurate program finance reports and budget management assistance. |
| This position requires regular engagement with Oxfam staff in Port Vila as well as Oxfam finance and program management staff based in the organization head office in Melbourne. |

| To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: |
| Criteria: |
| - Experience developing and producing financial reports, statements and reconciliations; Significant experience in MYOB |
| - A formal accountancy qualification; Experience in developing and monitoring budget; Ability to deliver reports and information that are accurate, timely and professionally presented |
| - Ability to explain complex financial concepts to people from non-financial backgrounds |
| - A high level of self-motivation and ability to work with limited supervision |
| - High levels of computer literacy with advanced proficiency in MS excel. |
