| | The goal of the Vanuatu Livelihood Project is to build the capacity of coca farmers and arts and craft producers in the Province of Penama so that they can take advantage of existing market opportunities and improve their livelihood. This is a "Local Position" that reports to the Area Manager. |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | To provide leadership, project management, implementation and coordination of the project according to approved objectives, plans of actions, and budget of the project. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Bachelor's degree or other tertiary qualifications in Project Management /Marketing/Economics/Commerce/ Business of agriculture |
| | - An understanding of market facilitation, local value chains and farmer groups; Experienced in community facilitation to achieve development results |
| | - Experience in commercial activities and working in a market environment; Good interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity |
| | - Effective in written and oral communication; Able to speak and write with a high standard of English and Bislama |
| | - Excellent planning, budgeting, reporting skills; Possess a current drivers license (preferred). |
