| | Friends in Action (FIA) – is seeking a worker for the position in Santo. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following requirement: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Must have a heart to help and willingness to communicate well with the Ni-Vans; Must be trust worthy; Have strong self initiative, and be highly motivated; Must have a minimum of 15 years work |
| | experience; Previous management or supervision of 6-20 workers; Good people skills |
| | - The ability to work well with people from various cultures, background, beliefs, and with government officials; Must know English fluently, required to learn bislama of not a Ni-Van; Willing to work |
| | 5.5 -6 days weekly, long hours, in rough remote locations; Willing to find your own sponsorship/support to live in Santo, Vanuatu (No wage will be provided, but a tax receipt will be send to your |
| | - Previous experience in over sight of projects and construction; Experience in managing your own business or the finances of a business or large projects; Ability and knowledge to carry out or oversee |
| | and train other in, Heavy equipment mechanics skills, electrical - planning and installations, water drilling, and water storage system installations of various type |
| | - Ability to operate heavy equipment - such as tractors, backhoe, bull dozer, 8 ton trucks, excavator; handling the administration of the projects including registration of equipment and vehicles, |
| | insurance, land leases, and property taxes |
| | - Tracking of project process and finances; Writing monthly progress reportsd in English on the development of the projects. |
