| The Government of Vanuatu is implementing the Support to Non State Actors and Community based Organizations III (NSA III) programme, funded by the European Union and is seeking to recruit for the position mentioned. The PMU staffs will be employed directly by the Government of Vanuatu represented by the National Authorizing Officer. All claims |

| Within the Project Management Unit, he/she will have the responsibility for: |
| 1) Organizing and supervising project implementation in the field, pro-active to allow access to information on funding availability for all potential beneficiaries |
| 2) He/she will work in close collaboration with all the project’s stakeholders, including government’s representative at provincial level |
| 3) He/she will contribute to the draft operational report as requested by the Supervisors and by the EDF Guidelines on the Management of Programme Estimates |
| 4) Regular field visits throughout Vanuatu will be required. |
| Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| Criteria: |
| - The Project Implementation Expert must hold a University Degree (or similar institution), or equivalent professional experience of minimum of 6 years; A minimum of 10 years relevant professional |
| experience working with civil society organizations, grass roots organizations, rural communities in the field of water, sanitation or/and environment sustainability is required |
| - The candidate must have proven experience at management level in donors’ funded projects, preferable EU projects; Experience in coordination or management role NSAs, government, community |
| development initiative in the field is needed; Proficient in English and French will be an asset |
| - Ability to produce reports and documents efficiently and accurately, in both English and French, must be proficient in spoken Bislama; An in-depth knowledge of Vanuatu context and current status of |
| communities as well as civil society landscape throughout the country is required |
| - Computer skills across the range of current software (esp. Excel, Words and Power Point). |
